Privacy Policy

This policy covers every Loop Games title — currently Looplink, and any future apps published under the Loop Games studio name. The privacy stance is identical across the portfolio.
What we collect
Nothing.
Every Loop Games title is a single-player puzzle game. We don't run servers and we don't have any way to collect, store, transmit, or analyze your data.
Specifically
- No account, no sign-in, no authentication of any kind
- No analytics, telemetry, or event tracking
- No advertising or ad SDKs
- No third-party SDKs of any kind
- No HealthKit, location, camera, microphone, or contacts access
- Internet is not required to play
Data stored on your device
Each Loop Games app saves your puzzle progress, settings (theme, haptics, line thickness, colorblind palette, Calm Streak history), and any notes you've pinned to clues directly on your iPhone or iPad using iOS's standard local storage (UserDefaults). Deleting the app deletes the local copy.
iCloud sync
If you're signed into iCloud, Loop Games apps also mirror your progress, settings, streak, and notes to iCloud Key-Value Storage (Apple's NSUbiquitousKeyValueStore API) so the same data is available on your other Apple devices signed into the same iCloud account.
- The total payload is well under 100 KB per app
- The data stays inside your own iCloud account
- It never touches a server we operate — Loop Games has no servers, no backend, no admin dashboard
- We don't have access to it, can't read it, and can't recover it for you if you sign out of iCloud
- If you're not signed into iCloud, the app quietly falls back to local-only storage with no error
To stop iCloud sync, sign out of iCloud on the device or revoke the specific app in Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Apps Using iCloud. Local progress is preserved.
Children's privacy
Every Loop Games title is rated 4+ and safe for all ages. Because we don't collect any data, our apps are inherently compliant with COPPA and similar laws protecting children.
International privacy laws
Because Loop Games apps collect no personal data, they are inherently compliant with GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), PIPL (China), LGPD (Brazil), and similar laws. There is no data to access, delete, port, or opt out of.
Apple's role
When you purchase a Loop Games title, your transaction is handled by Apple. If you've opted into Apple's analytics sharing via iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements → Share with App Developers, Apple may share aggregate, anonymized crash and usage data with us. This data is provided by Apple, not collected directly by our apps. See Apple's Privacy Policy for details.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date and post the new policy at this URL. If we ever add anything that collects data (we don't intend to), we'll require explicit user consent before doing so.
