Common questions

How do I play?+

Looplink has three Nikoli-style logic puzzles, and each teaches itself in a short onboarding the first time you open it. Loop (Slitherlink): draw a single closed loop — the numbers say how many of a cell’s four edges are part of it. Bridges (Hashi): connect every island into one network, matching each island’s number. Lights (Akari): place bulbs so every square is lit, with no two bulbs shining on each other. Tap any game on the home screen to start.

Is it free? Are there ads?+

Completely free. Looplink is free to download with every game and every mode unlocked — no ads, no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, and no trial that expires. Nothing to buy, nothing to restore, no tracking.

I paid for Looplink before it was free — what happens?+

Nothing you need to do. Looplink is now free for everyone, with every game and mode open. You already have full access — there’s no further charge, and nothing to unlock or restore.

I’m stuck on a puzzle.+

Tap the hint button. It highlights one logically-forced move and explains the rule that made it forced — no guessing required. You get 3 hints per puzzle with no penalty. Every puzzle has a unique solution from any valid position, so it can also help to undo a few moves and try a different line.

My progress disappeared after reinstalling.+

If you’re signed into iCloud on the device, Looplink restores your progress, per-game streaks, settings, and pinned notes automatically the first time you open the reinstalled app — the first sync can take 30 seconds or so. If it doesn’t come back: make sure iCloud is enabled (Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Apps Using iCloud → Looplink) and that the device has a network connection. If you weren’t signed into iCloud when you played, the data was local-only and uninstalling deleted it.

I want to suggest a feature.+

Email me. Top requests get built. I’m a solo developer making this in my spare time; I’m honest about what I can prioritize.

What games are in Looplink, and what’s next?+

Three so far — Loop (Slitherlink), Bridges (Hashi), and Lights (Akari) — all inside the one app, no extra downloads. More Nikoli-style puzzles follow if the app keeps earning its place; Nurikabe is the likely next one.
